Job Description
Student Life & Success Assistants are employees of the University of Cincinnati Blue Ash. Representing UC Blue Ash in this role will be considered a priority, but not above academics. Student Life & Success Assistants are responsible for fostering a positive and welcoming environment at UC Blue Ash. Assistants are expected to fulfill commitments as outlined below.
Primary Duties
- Provide excellent customer service to students by communicating accurate information.
- Answer the Student Life & Success Division phone, take messages, transfer calls to the appropriate Student Life & Success/UC Blue Ash staff members.
- Answer the Student Life & Success emails and respond as appropriate.
- Greet and assist guests who come to the Student Life & Success desk.
- Learn and refer students to relevant campus services and resources.
- Assist with New Student Orientation programming, Student Success initiatives, Student Life activities and Student Affairs projects.
- Assist with student outreach and Placement Testing initiatives.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
- Must have attended UC Blue Ash as a student for at least one semester either currently or previously. (Current semester will count the one semester.)
- Maintain a 2.5 cumulative GPA. First year students will need to earn a 2.5 GPA after their first semester.
- Demonstrate teamwork, leadership, responsibility and effective communication skills.
- Display punctuality, professionalism, and approachability.
- Demonstrate sensitivity to all populations.
- Represent UCBA, the Student Life & Success Division and yourself in a positive light. This includes personal representation within social media such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.

Hourly Pay Rate: 11.00
