Job Overview
The Department of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine is looking to fill a part-time (50% FTE) Program Coordinator position who will plan remote interactions between scientists at four (4) locations and ensure the smooth running of a Program Project Grant (PPG) studying cardiovascular disease.
Essential Functions
- Coordinate remote meetings between scientists at four (4) geographically distinct sites.
- Plan one advisory meeting per year at one of the four (4) locations.
- Execute travel documentation and reimbursements for Program advisors.
- Maintain PPG Director’s calendar.
- Light budget tracking using UC budget reports.
- Interact with staff, faculty, external agencies, and other University departments.
- Order office supplies.
Required Education
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Five (5) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement.
Required Experience
- One (1) year of program coordination experience.
Additional Information
After an initial training period, remote performance for this role will be possible. Actual hours worked during the business week can be flexible.
