Arts Enrichment Assistant Job DescriptionKids Rock Afterschool Program is seeking an Arts Enrichment Assistant to work with a director to assist with various arts enrichment activities, such as voice, drama, acting, broadcasting, and film for students in Kindergarten-6th grade.The Arts Enrichment Assistant will work with students one-on-one or in small groups and help students to learn and develop confidence for on- and off-camera activities.  Supervising students, participating in

games and play-time , and other various activities are all general tasks for which the Arts Enrichment Asssitant is responsible for. Our program follows the theme that "Kids Rock" and we want to ensure that each child is treated with respect as we seek to nurture the whole child.


Position Summary


We are looking for a very positive-minded person with a warm and interactive personality to join our team.  An Arts Enrichment Assistant should be timely, self-motivated, creative, patient, kind, and love kids!


Minimum Requirements

  • Recipent of work study award base on financial need and must be admitted into a degree program
  • Must be enrolled at leaset part-time (6 credit hours for graduate students), with the exception of summer quarter, or will be a registered student during the next academic quarter / semester for summer work
  • Students workers must meet the enrollment requirement for the entire quarter
  • Must be age 16 or older
  • Enrolled at a post secondary institution or a secondary school
  • Appointed as a Co-Op Student, Student Worker, or Work Study Student
  • The enrollment shall include:
  • The period between two successive terms for which the student is enrolled
  • The one "off term in each academic year in which the student is not enrolled. Student employee sttus may be retained for one additional term following either graduation or withdrawal from enrollment

Dates: Monday, August 19th, 2019 - May 21, 2020


Schedule: Monday - Friday 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
