Job Overview
The University of Cincinnati Blue Ash College invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor, (non-tenure track) position in the Business & Economics Department, intended to begin August 15, 2025. This is a one-year position. This position will teach courses in Business (Management, Finance, or related disciplines) for Associate degree programs and other courses in the Bachelor of Technical and Applied Studies (BTAS) in Applied Administration program. Target date to begin reviewing applications will be February 1, 2025, and the position will remain open until filled.
Essential Functions
- Teach twelve (12) credit hours per term in a variety of courses typical to a business curriculum (such as in management, finance, or related disciplines). Classes will be instructed in-person and online.
- Attend meetings and prepare materials for teaching.
- Create, teach, and evaluate student coursework for assigned undergraduate courses and seminars.
- Hold office hours for 4-6 hours each week.
Minimum Requirements
Prior to the effective date of appointment, all the following are required:
- A Master’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- A minimum of one academic year of college-level teaching experience in Business or a related field, and at least one course of online teaching and one course of in-person teaching.
