Student Worker - Enterprise Academic Technology, Video & Digital Media Team

 

Enterprise Academic Technology is seeking a detail-oriented, dependable student worker to assist with day-to-day operations with the Video & Digital Media Team. This student will function as a core member of the Video & Digital Media Team. Training will be provided but, ideally, any candidate should satisfy all of the minimum qualifications for the position.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Assisting with the management of Kaltura, Echo360, WebEx and Articulate Storyline
  • Creating knowledge base articles and tutorials for various video tools for faculty and students
  • Assisting full time staff with the creation and implementation of projects that promote active eLearning

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least 16 years of age.
  • Enrolled at a post secondary institution or a secondary school
  • Enrolled at least part-time (one or more credit hours if at a post-secondary institution), with the exception of summer term, or will be a registered student during the next academic term

 

Other Qualifications

  • Prior experience creating/editing video and digital media
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Experience using the Microsoft Office suite of applications
  • Ability to take initiative, follow instructions and work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to professionally and effectively collaborate with staff, co-workers and students
  • Professional demeanor
  • Strong organizational and time management skills

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience using Kaltura CaptureSpace, WebEx and Echo 360 ALP
  • Experience using editing tools such as Camtasia, iMovie, Photoshop, Premiere and Final Cut
