Location: Cincinnati, OH, US

Part time position at the College of Law’s Center for Professional Development. Flexible work schedule to accommodate a student class schedule. The student worker will join an energetic team of professional attorneys working to service the career planning needs of law students.


Daily Tasks

  • Manage the center’s email and phone, often serving as the first point of contact for students and employers
  • Utilize Symplicity software to post jobs to students and graduates
  • Sort and analyze data
  • Small research projects
  • Create marketing materials for center programs
  • Manage center Instagram account
  • Keep track of center expenses (handle incoming receipts)
  • Sort, deliver, and send center mail
  • Other general office assistance and administrative needs


Special Tasks

  • Assist with the planning, organizing, and set-up of center special events


Necessary Skills/ Abilities

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Easy going, detail oriented, excellent organizational and time management skills, excellent communication skills


Minimum Qualifications

  • At least 16 years of age
  • Enrolled at a post secondary institution or a secondary school
  • Enrolled at least part-time (one or more credit hours if at a post-secondary institution), with the exception of summer term, or will be a registered student during the next academic term.
