Job Overview

The Division of Pulmonary Critical Care and Sleep Medicine at The University of Cincinnati College of Medicine (UCCOM) invites applications for seasoned investigators to join our growing research group. We seek a faculty scholar with an established program and credentials appropriate for appointment at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor with a laboratory program focused on lung development and its relationship to lung disease. Areas of interest to the division include but are not limited to lung development, LAM and lung immunology.  The Department of Internal Medicine has substantial infrastructure for basic and translational research, including access to patient samples and well phenotyped patient populations. The Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine research group is an interactive, vibrant community of clinicians, clinical researchers, basic investigators, post-doctoral fellows and students who are focused on the pathogenesis of obstructive lung disease.

Essential Functions

The successful candidate will be expected to participate fully in the training of residents, pulmonary fellows and graduate students, to maintain an active research federally funded program, and to provide service to the School of Medicine, the University, and the local community.

Minimum Requirements

Prior to the effective date of appointment, the candidate must have an MD, a PhD, or an MD-PhD degree.
