About The College of Pharmacy

The Winkle College of Pharmacy is ranked 31st among pharmacy schools by U.S. News & World Report and is the fourth oldest College of Pharmacy in the nation. The James L. Winkle College of Pharmacy at the University of Cincinnati is seeking exceptional candidates for a newly created position: Manager of Graduate Programs. This role will be responsible for coordinating the activities of the college's graduate programs.

Job Overview

Recruitment, program marketing, admissions, progress monitoring, and overall program administration.

Essential Functions

  • Perform program needs assessment and make recommendations.
  • Organize and track academic progress of students in various graduate programs.
  • Implement policies and procedures. 
  • Act as liaison to internal departments, external entities and community organizations.
  • Assist with preparing and editing reports and/or newsletters and develop marketing materials.
  • Handle readmission and advanced standing requests for the programs.
  • Work with Directors and other staff members as needed to ensure that programs are meeting enrollment, retention and satisfaction goals.  
  • Perform related duties based on departmental need.

Required Education

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Seven (7) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement.

Required Experience

  • Three (3) years of relevant experience

Additional Qualifications Considered

  • May require supervision experience.
  • Experience managing online academic programs.
  • Experience advising and consulting students, faculty and staff.
  • Ability to work with a diverse student population.
