The University of Cincinnati Blue Ash College invites applications for a Program Coordinator of Career Services & Alumni Support position. The University of Cincinnati Blue Ash College is one of the largest regional colleges in Ohio and one of the most diverse colleges at the University of Cincinnati. Job Overview
The Career Services Office is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Program Coordinator to enhance the career education and professional development of students and alumni through experiential learning initiatives. In this role, the Program Coordinator will support and develop various programs, including co-ops, job shadowing, and other career-oriented opportunities that bridge academic knowledge with real-world experience. Key responsibilities include coordinating engaging workshops, fostering community relations, and providing individualized guidance for students and alumni.
This position will also involve collaboration with the Development Office to strengthen alumni engagement and support for UC Blue Ash College. The Program Coordinator will report to the Assistant Director of Career Services and work closely with the Development team to expand career-related initiatives and alumni connections. This role is essential in building a vibrant professional network and fostering a community that supports lifelong career success.
The ideal candidate is passionate about student success, skilled in program management, and excited to help shape the future career trajectories of UC Blue Ash students and alumni.
This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule with the option for 1-2 remote working days per week based on the unit’s needs at different times during the academic year. Remote work arrangements are subject to change in accordance with university policies. This is a full-time 100% FTE staff position.
Essential Functions
- Design/create and conduct seminars, classes, workshops/trainings or career related training programs.
- Develop student facing career support through program objectives and monitor quantitative and qualitative data on progress toward objectives. Review objectives to identify problems and solutions, prioritize solutions and develop action steps for program improvement.
- Develop, administer and analyze assessment/evaluation questionnaires. Compile statistics and prepare reports for the Career Services Office.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to recruit students and program participants, along with supervisor.
- Interact with staff, faculty, external agencies and other university departments to promote overall program awareness of Career Services and other office initiatives.
- May assist in developing new program ideas and propose program changes.
- May provide direct and/or indirect supervision to student employees.
- Implement alumni engagement strategies to raise UC Blue Ash’s percentage of participation for alumni giving
- Assist in planning and implementation of strategies and events which support both development & alumni relations.
- Assist in planning and preparation of development/alumni marketing materials in coordination with the UC Alumni Foundation.

Required Education
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
- Five (5) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement.
Required Experience
- One (1) year of related experience.
Additional Qualifications Considered
- Master’s Degree in a related field.
- Experience mentoring or supervising college students.
Physical Requirements/Work Environment
- Office environment/no specific unusual physical or environmental demands.
