Job Overview

The Program Coordinator supports the University of Cincinnati Office of the University Registrar and discharges the per semester class scheduling and classroom allocation processes.  This role utilizes the Catalyst student information system and the 25Live classroom allocation suite to execute the class scheduling and classroom allocation processes, manage student records as required, and implement special academic initiatives. Provide support for class ordering and class registration operations for the Office of the University Registrar. This is a hybrid position with the option to work 2 days in the office  on main campus and 3 days to work remote.

Essential Functions

  • Work directly with the Assistant Registrar on classroom scheduling and class registration operations 
  • Manage classroom scheduling for multiple colleges and departments for Registrar assigned classroom space. 
  • Assist in long term and day to day functions of class registration. 
  • Develop program objectives and monitor quantitative and qualitative data on progress toward objectives. Review objectives to identify problems and solutions, prioritize solutions and develop action steps for program improvement. 
  • Provide support to department faculty and staff on class ordering. 
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff from other university departments and organizations. 
  • May conduct research and analyze relevant literature, other benchmark information to develop new program ideas and propose program changes. 
  • Perform related duties based on departmental need. 

Required Education

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Five (5) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement.

Required Experience

One (1) year of program coordination experience.

Additional Qualifications Considered

  • Experience with Catalyst, the student information system or has the ability to be flexible and adapt to the Oracle PeopleSoft Campus Solutions student information system.  
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
