About the University of Cincinnati Center for Business Analytics

The UC Center for Business Analytics (CBA) was founded more than 10 years ago to create an ecosystem for business analytics and data science among students, faculty, practitioners, and leaders seeking to build sustainable analytics capability in their organizations. The CBA has been recognized for its excellence in connecting academia to industry practice in analytics. The CBA provides four types of services to member organizations: leadership forums, conferences, professional development training courses, and student projects.

Job Overview

The Program Coordinator role at the Center for Business Analytics (CBA) will work closely with the Associate Director who oversees the professional training program in analytics and AI as well as the center’s overall marketing efforts. The center offers a variety of public and private non-credit professional training courses to practitioners and leaders in analytics and artificial intelligence. The Program Coordinator will contribute to the professional training program helping maintain and enhance the professional training program to ensure its continued excellence and relevance in the industry. The coordinator role will also support the execution of the CBA marketing plan to promote training and events. This position will report to the Associate Director at the Center for Business Analytics.

 

This position will have the option of a hybrid work schedule (3 days in the office/2 days work from home) for those with a residence within OH/IN/KY following 90 days of training. Residence must be in the tri-state area within reasonable distance to UC Main Campus to have ability to report to campus as required. Remote work arrangements are subject to change in accordance with university policies.

Essential Functions

CBA Professional Training Program

  • Coordinate the operational aspects of the professional training program. Organize the setup, communication, and follow-up for training sessions, ensuring smooth execution.
  • Oversee live training sessions (virtual and in-person) to ensure a seamless experience for instructors and participants.
  • Develop registration sites for classes keeping course outlines consistent and up to date.
  • Maintain and analyze attendee, course, survey, and program data to support program improvements.
  • Handle inquiries and provide support to attendees, members and instructors regarding the training program.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to enhance program effectiveness and coordination.

 

CBA Marketing 

  • Support the program director with marketing efforts for the training program, events and the Center for Business Analytics as a whole including social media, email campaigns and website.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase program participants.
  • Design promotional materials for training programs and events, including social media posts, digital ads, flyers, and course materials. Utilize design tools (e.g., Canva) and collaborate with Lindner’s marketing team to ensure brand compliance.

Required Education

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Five (5) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement.

Required Experience

One (1) year of program coordination experience.

Additional Qualifications Considered

· Familiarity with event management platforms

·Experience with digital advertising

· Proficiency with virtual platform and virtual class/event coordination

· Microsoft Office 365
