Dr. Yujie Sun at Department of Chemistry and Dr. Jiajie Diao at Department of Cancer Biology currently has one joint postdoctoral position available. This position will support the University’s mission and commitment to excellence and diversity in our students, faculty, staff and all our activities.


Job Summary:

  • The main research project is to develop novel chemical probes and drugs to study sub-cellular dynamics in live cells
  • We have an in-house Nikon structured illumination microscopy for super-resolution imaging
  • Particular emphasis is on the synthesis of photoactivable molecules for imaging or stimulating live cells


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related fields


Additional Qualifications:

  • Previous experiences in handling live cells or animals and synthetic skills in organic compounds and transition metal coordination complexes
