Job Overview

The University of Cincinnati Blue Ash College invites applications for a Nursing Educational Specialist position for the Nursing Department. UC Blue Ash College is the largest regional college in Ohio, located in Blue Ash, Ohio with an enrollment of approximately 5100 students. This position will interact will all members of the faculty, staff, and student body within the UC Blue Ash Associate Degree of Nursing program. 

Essential Functions

  • Manage a lab and be able to coordinate clinical experiences with clinical agencies.
  • Work a flexible schedule during peak times. Normal work hours may vary. 
  • Implement and evaluate educational activities and participate in meeting the educational needs of the assigned college lab area.
  • Assist with demonstration, practice, remediation, reinforcement, skills review, simulation, and clinical make-up days in skills lab within the nursing department. 

Required Education

Master's Degree must be an MSN from an accredited program.

Required Trainings/Certifications

Current nursing license from State of Ohio.

Required Experience

  • Three (3) years of clinical nursing experience, including at least two (2) years of hands-on patient care.
  • Experience in managing a lab and clinical coordination.

Additional Qualifications Considered

Experience with simulation.
