Job Overview

The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the University of Cincinnati (UC) is searching for an academic Neuropathologist/Surgical Pathologist to participate in neuropathology and several additional anatomic pathology subspecialties that fit with the candidate’s interests.  Fellowship training or experience in neuropathology is required. In addition to clinical service and resident/fellow teaching, the position offers excellent opportunities for participation in collaborative research. The successful candidate will join a highly collegial faculty group.  Salary and academic rank are commensurate with experience. Minimum Requirements

Must have all of the following prior to effective date of appointment:

  • Medical degree (MD or DO or equivalent degree).
  • Completion of either a) a 3-year residency in anatomic pathology in an ACGME-accredited residency training program; or b) a 4-year residency in anatomic and clinical pathology in an ACGME-accredited residency training program.
  • Completion of a 1-year fellowship in neuropathology.
  • Licensure by the State of Ohio Medical Board.
