In fulfillment of this mission, UC Online invites candidates to the position of Marketing Specialist. We are seeking forward-thinking innovators who are eager to join UC's newest academic unit as we build the next chapter in online education.

 

The Marketing Specialist will assist the UC Online Marketing team with the execution of UC Online's marketing strategy, including print, direct mail, search, and social media. Additional responsibilities include monitoring and reporting on marketing campaign activities in reports and dashboards, as well as assisting with tracking inquiries and supporting the retention, program development, and program launch efforts of UC Online. Other duties supporting UC Online may be assigned.

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A minimum of one (1) year of experience in product marketing, campaign planning including direct and/or interactive marketing, research, messaging, positioning, copywriting.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated capacity for developing and understanding strategy.
  • Strong understanding of search, online advertising and pay-per-click (PPC).
  • Excellent creative and copywriting skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, design and layout. (especially Excel)
  • Basic understanding and experience with CRM systems and website content management.
  • Strong knowledge of project management fundamentals.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills and ability.
  • Strong ability to negotiate.
