This position follows a hybrid work model for candidates residing in Ohio, Indiana, or Kentucky. Candidates must live within the Cincinnati Tri-State area and be able to commute to UC's Main Campus as needed. Remote work is governed by university policy and may be adjusted accordingly.

Job Overview

The Marketing Coordinator supports UC Online's marketing operations by managing campaign logistics, coordinating creative assets, and facilitating cross-functional collaboration to ensure timely and effective program launches.  Responsible for the development/implementation of marketing plans, public relations, advertisements, display needs, catalogs, and special projects.

Essential Functions

  • Assist in the development, coordination, implementation, and revision of marketing plans and promotional materials
  • Assist in the development of customer and department profiles; plan ads and media mix
  • Assist in assessing, developing, and coordinating media campaigns
  • Monitor, track, and evaluate campaign results; recommend changes
  • Compile, update, and report marketing data related to advertising and marketing programs
  • Assist with the design, layout, and writing of print materials
  • Coordinate with the Business Officer to ensure accurate invoices and appropriate payments are made in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate the receipt of insertion orders, submit purchase requests, monitor work status, and validate receipt of deliverables for media buys with marketing partners
  • Monitor program schedule, deadlines, etc.
  • Perform related duties based on departmental need.

Typical Responsibilities

  • Campaign Coordination
    • Assist Marketing Specialists in executing program-level marketing campaigns.
    • Track timelines, approvals, and deliverables to ensure smooth campaign rollout.
  • Creative & Content Management
    • Liaise with internal content teams and external agencies to manage creative requests.
    • Ensure brand consistency across digital assets including web content, emails, and social media.
  • Program Launch Support
    • Contribute to communication plans for new and priority programs.
    • Coordinate early marketing efforts such as announcements and "coming soon" campaigns.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Work with Design, Recruitment, Retention, and Compliance teams to support marketing readiness.
    • Maintain documentation and monitor progress to meet launch milestones.

Required Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Education, Graphic Arts, Liberal Arts, Marketing, or related field.
  • Five (5) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement.

  • Office environment/no specific unusual physical or environmental demands.
