Job Overview

As part of the UC-COM, the Department of Environmental and Public Health Sciences (DEPHS) plays a critical role in advancing not only environmental and public health education, but also shaping the future of public health, future health leaders and industry professionals.  As such, DEPHS is accepting applications for a term (part-time) appointment as a lecturer. As a lecturer in the department, you will be expected to teach scholarly and other professional or creative activities in the graduate public health program, as well as support the University’s mission and commitment to excellence.

Essential Functions

  • Conduct and teach assigned graduate-level courses and seminars.
  • Attend meetings, participate in governance, prepare materials for teaching.
  • Evaluate and develop curriculum for department and/or college.

Minimum Requirements

  • Appropriate academic graduate and/or terminal degree related to departmental specifications (e.g., PhD, MBA, EdD, MPH, DrPH)
  • Prior academic experience that demonstrates excellence in teaching, research or other scholarly activity as evidenced by peer reviews.
