Job Overview

Provide integrated student services to students, families, faculty, and staff in areas including but not limited to, cashiers, financial aid, student accounts, student records and registration.

This will be a hybrid position obligated to reside in Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky with mandatory days in the office.

Essential Functions

  • Coordinate programs for students and other customers (e.g., financial aid/scholarship, daily web/blog communications/updates; special recruitment events/showcases).
  • Counsel students and other constituents with expertise in one or more areas (i.e., cashiers, financial aid, student accounts, student records and registration).
  • Manage all service-related inquiries.
  • Analyze status of student records.
  • Resolve complex problems, work with appropriate staff to develop and implement intervention strategies using professional counseling techniques. Make
  • Expert referrals as needed.
  • Coordinate proactive outreach efforts to improve student retention.
  • Design, develop and implement technology based self-service tools.
  • May participate in performing one or more of the following duties: mentor new hired Enrollment Services Specialists; mentor or supervise student workers; participate in special projects.

Required Education

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Five (5) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement.

Required Experience

One (1) years of experience in counseling and/or as a service provider.

Additional Qualifications Considered

  • Higher education experience in financial aid, bursar, registrar, advising, or in customer service.
  • Experience creating and delivering presentations to both large and small groups.
