In fulfillment of this mission, UC Online invites candidates to the position of Enrollment Services Advisor, a role responsible for nurturing student interest in UC's online programs and assisting potential students through the application process. As this unit continues to grow, we are searching for one (1) to eight (8) individuals.

 

Responsibilities for this position include: engaging with prospective students interested in online courses, certificates, and degree programs; interacting with prospective students from point of inquiry through the new student life cycle and using a consultative advising approach to build friendly, professional relationships with prospective students from inquiry through 1st term registration. Conducting interviews to qualify candidates, explaining academic programs, and assessing prospective students’ fit with their program of interest.  Implementing a communication plan and lead management strategy designed to encourage, support, and guide prospective students through the application and registration process for the desired program or certificate.

 

Additional application information:

  • This position is based on the UC Main Campus in the Clifton area of Cincinnati, OH and the selected candidate will be expected to work on-campus.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree with three (3) years experience; -OR- Associate's degree with five (5) years experience; -OR- seven (7) years experience. Also required counselor or service provider experience.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of college admissions and recruitment. Professional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in essential office technology (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Experience in sales, recruitment, or admissions, preferably one (1) year in an outbound recruitment office.
