Job Overview
Data Reporting Analyst 2 is responsible for the building and supporting Data Governance related initiatives with immediate focus on Data Quality and Data Literacy programs. In this role you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of data is being served and creating training programs for data consumers to make them more data literate. Some of the responsibilities include data analysis, data profiling, defining, implementing, and maintaining data quality rules and standards, creating data models, and building business intelligence and analytical solutions
Essential Functions
- Work directly with clients to identify business requirements.
- Convert business requirements into developed reports.
- Develop reports and dashboards with limited supervision.
- Interpret results using a variety of statistical techniques.
- Guide business users on best practices.
- Capable of maintaining existing catalog with limited guidance.

Required Education
Bachelor's Degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field
Six (6) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement
Required Experience
Two (2) years of business and/or ERP related experience
Basic knowledge of systems and database administration
Additional Qualifications Considered
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, analytics, data science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of proven experience as a Data Quality Analyst, Data Analyst, Reports/Analytics Developer, Data Modeler, or similar role.
• 3+ years of experience leveraging data governance, data profiling, and data quality tools like Informatica IDQ or CDQ, & Collibra.
• Strong experience in reporting and analytics tools like Tableau, Power BI, and Qlik.
• Deep experience in creating data models, reports and dashboards and providing data insights.
• Proficient in SQL along with 2+ years of experience in data integration.
• Experience working in Data Warehouse and Data Lakehouse in a cloud setting (AWS, Azure, Snowflake).
• Advanced understanding of data normalization and denormalization techniques.
• Strong skills and knowledge in all aspects of data movement from source to consumption, dealing with structured, un-structured, and semi-structured data.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Attention to detail and the ability to work with complex datasets.
• Prefer knowledge and understanding of the higher education sector.
