Under the supervision of the Executive Director for Gender Equity & Inclusion / Title IX Coordinator, the Office of Gender Equity & Inclusion Administrative Coordinator provides high quality organizational, administrative, budgetary, clerical, and operational support for the Office of Gender Equity & Inclusion.

 

Primary Duties

  • Assist the Executive Director with workflow, appointments, inquiry responses, email, document review, and internal/external communications.
  • Provide administrative, clerical and operational support, frequently of a highly complex, compliance-based and confidential nature to OGEI staff.
  • Coordinate office meetings, space allocation, supply acquisition, budgetary processing, and records management, including service as a Concur delegate, making and processing travel and office expenses.
  • In consultation with office leadership, establish protocols and processes for organizing and maintaining Office of Gender Equity & Inclusion records, responding to records’ requests, and providing accurate data on office activities, goals, and initiatives.
  • Assist in developing and implementing a communication plan regarding gender equity and inclusion matters.
  • Assist in the hiring, supervision, development and evaluation of student associates, including timekeeping, payroll, and fulfillment of assigned duties.
  • Professionally greet, advise, and/or otherwise assist office patrons and guests with confidentiality and service excellence.
  • Provide other services and perform additional, related duties as assigned.

 

      Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of two (2) years of related experience; -OR- Associate's degree and four (4) years’ experience; -OR- six (6) years of related experience. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; excellent oral and written communication skills required. 
  • Experience must be in office coordination, office management, or office administration. 
  • Demonstrated commitment to diversity, inclusion, and equity within an organization, team, and/or campus environment.

 

        Preferred Requirements

  • Experience and/or training in responding to complaints of gender-based harassment and gender-based violence.
  • Experience dealing with the specialized needs and concerns of marginalized communities and their experiences with gender-based violence.
  • Experience must be in office coordination, office management, or office administration.
  • Trauma informed training preferred.
