The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine is seeking a board certified or board eligible full-time Urogynecologist and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgeon (URPS). Candidates should have an interest in developing and maintaining an active clinical practice, medical and resident student teaching, and other academic or research activities. This position will be 100% clinical teaching and located at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center as well as other clinics in the surrounding area. The rank of appointment (Assistant/Associate/Professor) is open and will be commensurate with the experience and professional accomplishments of the selected applicant.

Essential Functions

  • Develop an active clinical practice.
  • Teach medical students and residents.
  • Attend meetings, participate in governance, prepare materials for teaching.
  • Evaluate and develop curriculum for department and/or college.
  • Serve as an adviser for students and residents.
  • Serve on department or hospital committees.
  • Engage in other activities ancillary to or in support of the role's responsibilities.
  • Render service to the professional or lay community which is relevant to the individual's academic specialty.
  • Review, and where necessary, respond in a timely manner to all University-related communications.
  • Other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

  • Medical Degree (MD or DO)
  • Completion of a board-certified residency program and formal Fellowship training in Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery (URPS) 
    Ohio medical license.
  • Board certification or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery (URPS) is required.  
  • Candidates will be expected to be fully boarded in both within five (5) years.

  • Office environment/no specific unusual physical or environmental demands.
