The Division of Cardiovascular Health and Disease, in the Department of Internal Medicine, at the University of Cincinnati, College of Medicine, invites applications for a faculty position as an Assistant/Associate/Full Professor of Clinical (rank commensurate with experience).
Cardiology faculty at University of Cincinnati Medical Center (UCMC) and West Chester Hospital are expected to contribute to ambulatory and hospital-based care, maintain active engagement in our education and training missions and participate in quality improvement, safety, and research projects. This position will be focused primarily at our West Chester Hospital location.
Essential Functions
- Clinical practice in the areas of general cardiology.
- Provide ambulatory and hospital-based care.
- Active engagement in education and training missions.
- Participate in quality improvement, safety, and research projects.
- Other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
- Medical Degree (MD or DO).
- Board certification in Internal Medicine.
- Board eligibility or certification in cardiovascular diseases.
- Training in cardiac imaging.
- Ability to obtain an unrestricted Ohio State Medical License and DEA license.
- Experience in 3D-echocardiography, strain echocardiography, TEE, structural heart disease and/or advanced nuclear cardiology, including knowledge of image processing/reconstruction.
