The University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Digestive Diseases is seeking two (2) MD academic clinicians to work with the Luminal GI service lines in a collaborative manner within and across divisions and departments in the medical center.  Compensation is highly competitive with the opportunity for incentives based on clinical and/or academic productivity.  The final rank and title of the appointments will be commensurate with the experience and professional accomplishments of the selected applicants. 

Essential Functions

  • The individual selected will have patient care responsibilities including, but not limited to, Outpatient Clinic, Inpatient hospital service and consults, and endoscopy laboratory procedures.  
  • The individual will be assigned a pro rata amount of weekend/holiday/night call in accordance with division policies.  
  • This will be a teaching position and there will be the opportunity for research based on interest in credentials.
  •  This position is supported by dedicated advanced practice providers and administrative staff.  

Minimum Requirements

Doctor of Medicine (MD) or an equivalent degree with board eligibility or board certification in gastroenterology.
