The Division of Cardiovascular Health and Disease at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine is seeking a Cardiologist with advanced imaging expertise and training to support clinical growth in several key programs.
Faculty rank is commensurate with experience.
Essential Functions
- Cardiology inpatient services at University of Cincinnati Medical Center (UCMC) and/or West Chester Hospital (WCH), including but not limited to consult services, cardiovascular intensive care (CVICU) services, or general cardiology services.
- Supervising/reading cardiac studies including echocardiograms, SPECT nuclear studies, EKGs and holters/event monitoring.
- Some outpatient clinics per week at a UC Health outpatient facility.
- Maintain active engagement in our education and training missions.
- Participate in quality improvement, safety and research projects.
Minimum Requirements
- Medical Degree (MD or DO).
- Completion of 3-year residency in Internal Medicine.
- Completion of 3-year fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease.
- Ohio State Medical License and DEA License.
Additional Qualifications Considered
- Echo cardiography and/or nuclear cardiology certification.
- COCATS level 3 training.
- Experience in the following: 3D-echocardiography, Strain echocardiography, TEE, Structural heart disease, Advanced nuclear cardiology, Cardiac CT, Cardiac MRI, Cardiac PET.
