In partnership with the UC Health academic healthcare system and Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, College of Medicine’s faculty are transforming the world of medicine every day. The Department of Radiology is a top-tier department with world-renowned faculty and staff.


A full time Musculoskeletal Radiologist faculty position is available in the Department of Radiology at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine.  Rank and Track for this position will be commensurate with experience and credentials of candidate. This position will support the University’s mission and commitment to excellence and diversity in our students, faculty, staff and all our activities.


UCMC is a Level 1 Trauma Center and our Musculoskeletal Radiology Section (MSK) has a solid partnership with UC Sports Medicine and Orthopedics.  We collaborate on shared research projects, and faculty responsibilities include imaging and treatment of Division 1 Collegiate Athletes from all UC sports teams.  UC Radiology has an MR scanner in Nippert Stadium and Point of Care Ultrasound in the UC athletic training room.  Nippert Stadium is the third oldest football stadium in the NCAA and MSK radiology staff enjoy being part of the UC game day traditions. UC MSK radiology has an active MSK interventional program, including ultrasound guided procedures.  UC Radiology has a thriving medical 3D printing program with several clinical use cases in MSK imaging.  UC Radiology offers an ACGME-accredited fellowship program.  The MSK section faculty has been awarded special recognition as the best teaching section in the department, and has numerous shared educational resources, including a large PACS based teaching file.

Essential Functions

Responsibilities include staffing at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center (UCMC) and other UC Health facilities.  Responsibilities will include teaching and supervision of residents, medical students and fellows. 

Additional Qualifications Considered

Ideal candidates will be competent to cover all aspects of musculoskeletal imaging. Subspecialty certification in musculoskeletal imaging is desirable.
