Job Overview
The University of Cincinnati Blue Ash College invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track faculty Assistant Professor of Biology position, beginning August 15, 2025.
Essential Functions
- Teach an average of 12 contact hours per semester of undergraduate lecture and/or laboratory classes in the Fall and Spring Semesters; primary content area for this position is human anatomy and physiology and/or other related biology courses as needed by the department.
- Service duties such as participating in the governance and committee service to the Department, College, and University.
- Participating in ongoing professional activities in two subcategories: (a) professional development and (b) research, scholarship, and/or creative activity. These activities may be in the discipline of biology and/or the scholarship of teaching and learning.
Minimum Requirements
By May 31, 2025, applicants must have both of the following:
• PhD in biology or a related field
• One (1) academic year of college-level teaching experience in biology or a related field
