Job Overview

The Office of Undergraduate Admissions at the University of Cincinnati is seeking two Assistant Director of Admissions for Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems. These positions will report directly to the CRM Manager and provide support in day-to-day operations, data management and integrity as well as long term strategy related to functionality and support of the CRM (Technolutions Slate). These roles will collaborate with admissions staff as well as campus partners to ensure Slate is functioning at its peak for prospective students, applicants and counselors. One role will be focused primarily on data management, including but not limited to uploads, record maintenance and source formats. The second role will primarily focus on day-to-day strategy and support. These candidates will also have a proven ability to manage multiple priorities under hard deadlines while keeping a high level of professionalism and exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.


This position will offer flexibility for a hybrid remote work arrangement for applicants with a residence within OH/IN/KY. Remote work arrangements are subject to change in accordance with university policies.

Essential Functions

  • Support day-to-day operations within the CRM. 
  • Assist in the setup, maintenance, and optimization of the CRM to successfully execute the university’s enrollment strategy. 
  • Participate in strategic conversations about innovation and improvements within the CRM. 
  • Troubleshoot and problem solve. 
  • Develop an understanding of existing business processes and help define and implement new ones. 
  • Collaborate and coordinate with university-wide Institutional Research, BCS (Business Core Systems), and offices with Admissions to ensure team, systems, and operations work efficiently and effectively.  
  • Develop, coordinate, and support Admissions technology solutions and enhancements through data findings to help drive functional areas across the university forward.  
  • May provide direct and/or indirect supervision to exempt and non-exempt staff (i.e., hiring/firing, performance evaluations, disciplinary action, approve time off, etc.). 
  • Attend office and institutional meetings.  
  • Participate in professional development opportunities such as conferences, workshops, and meetings. Attend seminars when needed. 

Required Education

Bachelor's Degree.

Required Experience

  • Three (3) years of relevant experience.  
  • Some positions may require specialized experience.  

Additional Qualifications Considered

  • Experience with Technolutions Slate CRM is ideal.
  • Previous supervisory experience.

Physical Requirements/Work Environment

  • Office environment/no specific unusual physical or environmental demands.
