The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine is seeking a board certified or board eligible full-time Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) physician to join a group of seven MFM faculty and three APRNs. The MFM practice is primarily consultation-based with clinical service opportunities including a robust diabetes in pregnancy program (with support from APRNs, two diabetes educators, and a perinatal dietician), multidisciplinary complex cardiac disease in pregnancy program, center of excellence for placenta accreta, and care of complex maternal medical conditions at the only Level IV maternity care referral center in the greater Cincinnati area.  Opportunities for teaching include a program of 6 MFM fellows, 28 OB-GYN residents as well as medical students. The division has a robust research program with multiple federally funded and industry-sponsored clinical trials, 6 full-time research coordinators, and a high volume of peer-reviewed journal publications. Candidates should have an interest in teaching, care of complex maternal conditions, fetal diagnosis and intervention, and clinical research. This position will be 100% clinical/clinical teaching.  The rank of appointment (Assistant/Associate) is open and will be commensurate with the experience and professional accomplishments of the selected applicant.

Essential Functions

  • Clinical Work/Clinical teaching.
  • Other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

  • Medical Degree (MD or DO) with completion of a board-certified residency program and formal Fellowship training in Maternal Fetal Medicine. 
  • Ohio medical license.
  • Board certification or Board Eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology and in Maternal Fetal Medicine is required. 
  • Candidates will be expected to be fully boarded in both within five (5) years.
