Job Overview

UC Clermont College is seeking applications for part-time adjunct faculty for the upcoming academic term in the Surgical Technology program. Courses to be taught include face-to-face instruction in Surgical Technology lab courses and/or possibly online Surgical Technology/Allied Health courses.

Essential Functions

  • On a part-time basis conduct and teach assigned undergraduate-level courses.
  • Prepare and teach assigned lab sections on campus.
  • Conduct student clinical evaluation visits at various clinical sites in the tri-state area (Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana).
  • Engage in other activities ancillary to or in support of responsibilities.
  • Other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

  • Associate degree in Surgical Technology.
  • Current status as a Certified Surgical Technologist or Certified Surgical First Assistant.
  • Minimum three years clinical experience.

Additional Qualifications Considered

  • Associate degree in Surgical Technology.
  • Bachelor’s degree in an Allied Health Field.
  • Current status as a Certified Surgical Technologist or Certified Surgical First Assistant.
  • Five years clinical experience and/or two years college-level teaching/precepting experience in Surgical Technology program.
