Job Overview

UC Clermont College is seeking applications from Insurance instructors under the Business & Law Department. Applications are being accepted on a continuous basis to be included in the general pool of candidates from which part-time faculty are selected to teach online instruction.

Essential Functions

  • On a part-time basis, conduct and teach assigned courses to teach our Insurance Certificate Program.
  • Engage in other activities ancillary to or in support of his or her responsibilities.
  • Review, and where necessary, respond in a timely manner to all University-related communications.
  • Other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

  • MBA or MA/MS degree in Finance, Business, Marketing, or Management
  • 10 years of experience in the insurance industry

 

Applicants must be knowledgeable in the following areas:

  • Insurance Company Operations – Focus on the operational aspect of an insurance company – ideally insurable risk, marketing and distribution, production, underwriting, ratemaking, claims settlement, reinsurance, and investment.
  • Insurance Fundamentals – Focus on major insurance types for individuals – life, homeowners, health and disability, auto, and social insurance.

Additional Qualifications Considered

Online teaching experience.
