The University of Cincinnati, Department of Internal Medicine Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism is seeking a clinical endocrinologist for an Adjunct Assistant Professor – GEO position. This position will be 75% FTE. The Division has a strong interest in clinical faculty wanting to specialize in Diabetes, Metabolic Bone/Mineral Disorders, Obesity, and Cancer Metabolism.

Essential Functions

  • The individual selected will have patient care responsibilities including, but not limited to endocrinology outpatient clinic and inpatient hospital services and consults.
  • This position also includes teaching and training learners at multiple levels in the education process focused in the area of clinical endocrinology. 
  • The teaching mission includes precepting fellows, residents and/or medical students in ambulatory and inpatient settings, as well as providing lectures or leading small group discussions.
  • Other responsibilities include attending and participating in departmental and divisional meetings and conferences.

Minimum Requirements

  • Applicants must have a M.D., MD/PhD degree or equivalent. 
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified Endocrinologist. 
  • Candidate must be eligible for medical licensure in Ohio.
