This position will report to the Assistant Director of Operations within the Office of the Bursar to support the University’s mission, commitment to excellence, diversity in our students, faculty, staff as well as all other activities.


Job Summary

Provide day-to-day accounting functions and support to the Operation’s Office, including posting payments, account reconciliation, customer service and other duties based on departmental needs. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Post transactions in University software
  • Owner/Liaison for third party sponsors
  • Review, interpret and complete request of third party sponsors
  • Initiate collection procedures for third party sponsors
  • Process journal entries
  • Research, document and resolve inquiries from students, parents, staff, third party sponsors via multiple communication platform


Incumbent will be expected to perform accounting job function in one or more assigned area(s) with minimal supervision. Work assignments will require:

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor degree; -OR-Associates Degree with two (2) years’ experience; -OR- four (4) years’ experience; degree must be in accounting or related field with related accounting experience. Incumbent must possess the business/fiscal experience to be fully proficient in performing most or all work assignments.

This position will be a professional position paid at an hourly rate.
