Job Overview
The University of Cincinnati Blue Ash College invites applications for our Academic Program Manager position to assist in the administration and operational activities of the academic departments and Dean’s administrative suite at UC Blue Ash College. This position will report to the Associate Director of Academic Affairs at UC Blue Ash, joining three existing program managers. As a first point of contact on campus academic program managers are responsible for supporting visitors, students, faculty, and staff through administrative processes; responding to inquiries; administering processes for college initiatives and departments; working with academic databases; and conducting outreach efforts to students. Additionally, program managers support academic departments’ administrative needs, and perform other duties as assigned.
Upon completion of the training period, this position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule with the option of one (1) remote working day per week (two (2) days per week during the summer semester). Residence must be within the Cincinnati Tri-State area (OH/IN/KY) with reasonable distance to campus to have the ability to report to campus as required. Remote work arrangements are subject to change in accordance with university policies.
Essential Functions
- Work closely with UC Blue Ash College academic departments and offices to support their programs and services.
- Support the administrative needs of departmental faculty and staff.
- Coordinate academic department functions as needed, for example, inputting schedules, taking meeting minutes, preparing for events, maintaining websites, as well as helping with curriculum changes, course permissions, programming offered by departments, accreditation preparation and follow up, and selective admissions processes.
- Prepare and edit data, reports, and publication materials.
- Perform searching, reporting, and analysis requests within academic databases.
- Assist in the administration and operational activities of the Dean’s administrative suite.
- Prepare contracts; initiate, approve and monitor expenditures; prepare budget requests and expense reports.
- Act as liaison to internal departments, external entities, and community organizations.
- Implement policies and procedures.
- Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Show attention to detail and have strong organizational skills.
- Perform other related duties based on needs of the college.
Required Education
- Bachelor's Degree
- Seven (7) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement
Required Experience
- Three (3) years experience in program development or business administration.
Additional Qualifications Considered
- Administrative support experience in a healthcare field.
- Experience working in a higher education institution and/or with college students.
- Experience managing platforms including the suite of Microsoft services, student information systems, query systems, etc.
Physical Requirements/Work Environment
- Office environment/no specific unusual physical or environmental demands.

Salary/Hourly Pay Rate Information: $50,000 - $53,000
