WORKSTUDY STUDENT EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES

 

The College-Conservatory of Music is now accepting applications for students whom are approved for the Federal Workstudy program for Concert/Operations personnel for the 2017/18 School Year.

 

The position requires flexibility of work hours, both day and evening, starting August 14th and running through exam week of Spring Quarter.

 

Pay rate: $9.00 an hour.

Average hours: 10-15 hours a week. 

Evening hours during the week and Saturday and Sundays.

 

Duties: Include but are not limited to:

  • Preparing rehearsal rooms and concert halls for workshops and concerts.
  • Assistants work both front of house and backstage for CCM concerts and recitals
  • Assisting CCM Director of Facilities & Performance Services with supervision of building operations.
  • May require moving furniture & equipment.       Light lifting.
  • Requires working in a team environment with students, faculty and the public.

 

Some knowledge of Concert and Stage operations helpful. Good public relations skills and a customer service emphasis a must.
