The College of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neuroscience is looking for a Research Assistant. This position will support the University’s mission and commitment to excellence and diversity in our students, faculty, staff and all our activities. The Research Assistant will be supporting an exciting research project comparing two psychotherapy treatments for the symptoms of Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).


Job SummaryThis individual will provide assistance and general support to the Research Coordinator and the Principle Investigator in a research setting. Primary responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Recruitment screening
  • Enrollment scheduling and assessment
  • Informed consent review with research participants
  • Study visit assessments
  • Data tabulation, entry, maintenance
  • Track and monitor participant study progress
  • Other research activities 


Minimum Qualifications:  Bachelor's degree ina profession/field or equivalent level of knowledge.


Preferred Qualifications: Conscientiousness, attention to detail, and ability to interact amiably with research staff and study participants is essential. Preferred experience with REDCap or other data acquisition programs.



This position will be a professional position paid at an hourly rate.
