UC is one of the largest employers in the Cincinnati region, employing over 15,000 full time and part time faculty, staff and student workers. The Academic Health Center, Center of Communication Services and Duplicating is recruiting for a full-time (100% FTE) Production Coordinator.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the set-up, operation, and maintenance of Bulk Mail, Print, and Bindery equipment.
  • Coordinate jobs to process and schedule, enter details into database and invoice necessary billing charges.
  • Assist manager in compiling revenue and expense data.
  • Operation of network printers, folding inserting, mail machines, and other related duties in accordance with departmental needs and procedures (offset print abilities a plus).
  • Identify problems and repair equipment as needed.
  • Perform quality control during each mailing to ensure product meet USPS requirements.
  • Read postal statement and sort mail accordingly
  • Maintain current knowledge of U.S. postal and other delivery service regulations.
  • Maintain and order supplies.
  • Perform related duties based on departmental need.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with one (1) year experience; -OR- Associate's degree with three (3) years’ experience; -OR- five (5) years’ experience. Must have related experience.
  • Detail-oriented, highly organized, and good coordination and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Must have valid driver's license to operate a motor vehicle in State of Ohio and possess acceptable driving record.
  • Must be able to lift/move heavy material (50+ pounds).

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to provide exceptional customer service to clients.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Ideal candidate would bring with them additional skills such as offset press/bindery and/or pre-press experience.

 

This position will be a professional position paid at an hourly rate.
