About the Department
The Lindner College of Business (LCB) mission is to empower business problem-solvers to tackle the world’s toughest challenges. The college has an established national reputation for excellence in several academic areas across its undergraduate, graduate, and online programs. The college enrolls approximately 4,000 undergraduates, 900 master’s students, and 45 doctoral students.
Job Overview
The Department of Finance in the Carl H. Lindner College of Business at the University of Cincinnati invites applications for a one-year, full-time postdoc position in Real Estate, beginning August 2025. The selected candidate will collaborate with UC faculty and corporate partners on research in the application of state-of-the-art analytics methodologies to problems in real estate. The selected candidate may also have opportunities to gain teaching experience for additional compensation.
This position will have the option of a hybrid work schedule (3 days in the office/2 days work from home) for those with a residence within OH/IN/KY following 90 days of training. Residence must be in the tri-state area within reasonable distance to UC Main Campus to have ability to report to campus as required. Remote work arrangements are subject to change in accordance with university policies.
Essential Functions
- Conduct research independently and in collaboration with UC faculty.

Provide ongoing analysis of data that are relevant to stakeholders and industry leaders in the Cincinnati metropolitan area.

Prepare data summaries, reports, manuscripts and presentations of research results.

Participate/assist in manuscript writing for publication in academic journals and/or presentation; assist in grant writing.

Perform related duties based on department need. This job description can be changed at any time.
Required Education
Doctoral Degree in Economics, Finance, Public Policy, Urban Planning or related discipline.
Required Experience
- Experience with STATA, R, Python or related statistical software.
- GIS expertise is ideal.
