The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery is a top-tier department with world-renowned faculty and staff.

 

The College of Medicine, Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, is looking for an Orthopaedic Oncology Surgeon. This position will support the University’s mission and commitment to excellence and diversity in our students, faculty, staff and all our activities.

 

The candidate will demonstrate an advanced level of medical knowledge, with the ability to evaluate, diagnose, and provide treatment of tumors and cancers that affect the bones, cartilage, fibrous tissues, muscles, nervous tissues, soft tissues, and vessels. Candidate must demonstrate clinical and technical competence, sound clinical judgement, professionalism, and compliant and timely documentation.

Essential Functions

Duties will include responsibilities for the clinical, research and teaching activities for our students, residents and fellows. 

Minimum Requirements

  • M.D., D.O. or foreign equivalent.
  • Successful completion of an Orthopaedic Residency.
  • Successful completion of an Orthoapedic Oncology/Musculoskeletal Fellowship.
