In fulfillment of this mission, UC Online invites candidates to the position of Enrollment Services Specialist.

 

Under general supervision from a designated administrator, the Enrollment Services Specialist assists in the administrative and operational activities of the recruitment team of UC Online.  The Enrollment Services Specialist engages with prospective students interested in online courses, certificates, and degree programs.  The Enrollment Services Specialist interacts with any external recruiting services, acting as liaison and interface between them and the University for all questions and processes, along with contacting prospective students and nurturing their interest in online University of Cincinnati degree programs.

 

Essential Functions

  • Respond to questions and needs involving external recruiting services.
  • Interact with other University units to ensure timely admission for students going through our programs.
  • Assist in the execution of university and college admission processes and procedures.
  • Using a consultative advising approach, build friendly, professional relationships with prospective students through telephone and email communications.
  • Conduct interviews via telephone to provide information on the institution, colleges, degree programs, and admissions processes and requirements.
  • Implement a communication plan and lead management strategy designed to encourage, support, and guide prospective students through to program selection.
  • Effectively use UC Online’s CRM to track interactions and progression of all leads.
  • Provide excellent customer service to prospective students.
  • Achieve daily performance standards related to speed to lead, prospect contacting, call management, and responses to external recruiters.
  • Share recruiting data and trends as an active participant in degree program cross-functional teams.
  • Support and provide feedback on internal policies, procedures, and controls to advance service levels.
  • Maintain collaborative relationships with colleges, departments, and other university units regarding recruitment efforts that enrich the student experience. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned. 

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with one (1) year experience; -OR- Associate's degree with three (3) years experience; -OR- five (5) years experience.
  • Experience must be in program coordination.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with two (2) years of relevant experience or four (4) years of sales, recruitment, or admissions experience
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Excel and CRM experience
  • Experience in an outbound recruitment office
  • Knowledge of college admissions and recruitment
