The College of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry is looking for a Clinical Research Professional. This position will support the University’s mission and commitment to excellence and diversity in our students, faculty, staff and all our activities.


Job Summary: With limited supervision, plan, evaluate, coordinate and/or manage elements of multiple or complex research projects for the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neuroscience.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning and implementing the research study’s goals and objectives; organize patient enrollment planning and execute recruitment efforts; conduct quality assurance activities
  • Compile and analyze data
  • Develop and implement procedures, maintain records, track progress, and conduct quality assurance on data collected
  • Act as a liaison with medical staff, University Departments, ancillary departments and/or satellite facilities
  • Provide quality patient care to patients and their families
  • Prepare, submit, and assist PI with multiple levels of research documentation (i.e. IRB submissions, educational materials, reports, grant renewal reports, and study forms)
  • Maintain regulatory documentation
  • Serve as resource person or act as consultant within area of regulatory expertise
  • Conduct internal audits
  • Make and assist in modifying protocols and study documents
  • Write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals as needed
  • Assist with creation of case report forms
  • Act as liaison between study personnel and data entry specialists
  • Related other duties, as assigned


Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in related disciple, or equivalent preferred. Must have at least one year research experience, preferably in an academic or clinical setting.

This position will be a professional position paid at an hourly rate.
