The College of Medicine, Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism, is currently accepting applications for a full-time clinical research professional.   This position will support the University’s mission and commitment to excellence and diversity in our students, faculty, staff and all our activities.

 

Essential Function:

Under general supervision, provide expert research support to coordinate the daily operations of a research laboratory that focuses on the mechanisms of disease in human patients with type 1- and type 2-diabetes.

 

Primary Duties: include but are not limited to:

Manage all facets of the lab group’s clinical research studies, including but not limited to:

  • Subject recruitment
  • Subject scheduling for study visits at CCHMC’s Schubert Research Center
  • Participation in daylong metabolic studies at CCHMC’s Schubert Research Center
  • Data collection
  • Documenting the regulatory aspects of our studies (e.g., IRB and FDA interactions)

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related discipline, or equivalent.
  • At least one year related experience, preferably in an academic or clinical setting.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in the field of, and/or working knowledge of, whole-body physiology and/or nursing
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
