The College of Medicine, Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Hematology/Oncology is currently recruiting for an Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) to augment the BMT team of specially trained multidisciplinary professionals and world renowned physicians.


Job Summary/Duties This individual will care for bone marrow transplant patients in both the inpatient and outpatient settings under the supervision of an attending physician.


Minimum Qualifications Nurse Practitioner: A Master's degree in Nursing and graduation from an ANA approved Nurse Practitioner Program. Three (3) years nursing experience. Current/valid RN license in the state of Ohio prior to start.




Minimum Qualifications Physician AssistantGraduation from a Physician Assistant program accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA) or its predecessor agencies. Certification as a Physician Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. Current/Valid license in the state of Ohio prior to start.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Previous oncology or BMT experience.
  • A background in inpatient internal medicine.
