The Hoxworth Blood Center invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. The mission of the program is to pursue multi-disciplinary, synergistic, and highly collaborative research dedicated to translationally-focused stem cell/hematopoietic biology and/or regenerative medicine, which would include immunotherapy and pluripotent stem cell biology. It is built upon an extremely collaborative environment with the Departments of Pediatrics and Cancer/Cell Biology of the Academic Health Center with extraordinary institutional strengths in basic and translational sciences.

 

We seek candidates with innovative approaches and novel paradigms to study the basic biology, modeling and translational aspects of stem cell biology and/or hematopoiesis, pluripotent stem cell biology to generate innovative blood products and/or innovative immunotherapy approaches.

 

Qualifications:  Candidates must have a Ph.D., M.D., M.D. /Ph.D., or D.O.
