Job Overview
The Carl H. Lindner College of Business, Department of Marketing, invites applications for a non-tenure track position at the level of Assistant Professor - Educator. This search will remain open until the position is filled. Desired start date is August 2026.
The Department of Marketing houses the largest undergraduate major on campus, an online/on-campus Master of Science in Marketing program, as well as a strong Ph.D. program. Our department is both collegial and productive with a strong commitment to quality teaching and research.
Essential Functions
- Teaching undergraduate and graduate courses (may include face-to-face and online versions) such as Fashion Marketing and Merchandising, Marketing Management, Marketing Research and other related topics
- Course preparation, delivering course content and leading hands-on exercises, holding office hours, as well as grading and preparing assessment materials
- Participating in curriculum/course development, including developing online courses
- Providing education-related service activities (e.g., advising student organizations, academic standards review)
- Engaging in business community outreach (i.e., developing a network) that supports students in finding co-op/full-time employment, as well as possible class projects.
Minimum Qualifications
Prior to effective date of appointment, all of the following are required:
- Master's degree in Fashion, Marketing or related field
- One term of collegiate level teaching experience
Appointment Details
Initial appointment is up to three years and can be renewed. Anticipated course load is 12 credit hours per semester. The position is represented by the AAUP.
