The Carl H. Lindner College of Business is seeking to hire an Assistant Director of Student Recruitment to work with the Undergraduate Enrollment team, to assist in the development and implementation of recruitment strategies, programs and events targeting academically prepared and strongly motivated prospective students to our undergraduate business programs. Characteristic Duties

  • Act as primary contact for prospective students;
  • Coordinate and utilize a strong student ambassador team and partner with University and College alumni to assist with recruitment events, including weekly information sessions and student shadow days;
  • Work with the Enrollment Team to develop and fulfill strategic recruitment plan to increase awareness of programs, develop College events, work with prospects, and fulfill enrollment targets of the business undergraduate programs;
  • Create, update, and maintain recruitment material and distribution and contact lists;
  • Utilize Slate to support admission related communication and data driven decision making;
  • Collaborate with UC admissions and financial aid offices on duties deemed necessary to fulfill the duties of the position.

 

The position requires a combination of day, evening, and weekend hours.  Some travel required. 

 

Minimum Qualifications:    Master’s degree in related educational program, student affairs administration, or other related field with one (1) year experience ; –OR- Bachelor's degree with three (3) years’ experience; -OR- Associate's degree with five (5) years’ experience; -OR- seven (7) years’ experience.  Experience may also require at least one (1) year supervision.   May require experience in international admissions and/or minority recruitment.

 

Preferred Qualifications:   Prior experience with college recruitment and/or knowledge of business, familiarity with educational application process, and expertise in Slate are highly desirable.  The recruiter must be a self-starter, with superior interpersonal skills, solid oral and written communication skills, and strong planning and organizational abilities.
