As part of the University of Cincinnati’s new strategic direction, UC has launched the Office of Innovation, which is housed in the University’s new 133,000 square foot 1819 Innovation Hub. The Office of Innovation is to ignite a thriving uptown innovation corridor, populated with large corporate partners, fast-moving startups, and curated access to student and faculty talent. The Office of Innovation is currently recruiting for an Administrative Coordinator who will provide organizational and administrative assistance to the Chief Innovation Officer (CIO).

 

Under general supervision from the Executive Assistant to the CIO, coordinate, schedule, and assist in the execution of the CIO’s everyday schedule as well as acting as the direct back-up to the Executive Assistant. 

 

Characteristic Duties

  • Manage and prioritize, requests for meetings, conference calls, travel arrangements, etc. for the Chief Innovation Officer
  • Direct requests and queries from both internal and external constituents
  • Research and prepare relevant information for meetings (biographies, backgrounds, agendas, etc.)
  • Assist in the reporting and allocation of the CIO’s expenses
  • Support Executive Assistant in the overall logistics regarding the CIO’s role in the Office of Innovation
  • Perform other duties as assigned

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required -OR- Associate's degree with two (2) years of related experience - OR- four (4) years of related experience
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail
